Valentyn Zagariaya and Ruslan Shevchuk became members of Commission on Legal Matters of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine
Valentyn Zagariya, Managing Partner and Ruslan Shevchuk, Partner and Co-Head of Corporate and M&A Practice, became official members of the Commission on Legal Matters of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. The Commission on Legal Matters is in charge of providing legal support to the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine (hereinafter – NOC), including, but not limited to, elaborating all legal documents, representing its interests before government and courts, sport arbitration bodies (control and disciplinary, as well as appeal committees), national and international sport federations and associations, International Court of Arbitration on all issues arising out of the NOC’s activities. Participation of Spenser & Kauffmann representatives in activities of the Commission on Legal Matters is performed on pro bono basis within the framework of the Social Corporate Responsibilities Program of the firm with the purpose of supporting Olympic movement in Ukraine.
The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine is non-government and non-commercial organization acting under applicable Ukrainian law, Olympic Charter of International Olympic Committee and Charter of National Olympic Committee of Ukraine as well.
